Recover, Relocate, Restore
Our Story
In 2015, Liz Liles founded Daughters of Worth with a vision to create a sanctuary for girls and women who have endured the horrors of violence, particularly human trafficking. Recognizing a critical gap in services, Liz established the organization to provide trauma-informed, comprehensive support that includes training, prevention education, direct services, and relocation assistance. As the only agency in the area dedicated to serving both minors and adults, Daughters of Worth stands as a beacon of hope and empowerment, committed to transforming lives and fostering a future where every girl and woman can thrive.
The sunflower is a symbol of freedom. Utilized to bring those held in slavery into freedom, the sunflower was a visual voice of hope. Daughters of Worth exists to be the voice of hope and freedom for the girls of our communities.

Our Mission
Hope for her life.
Freedom for her future.
Daughters of Worth is a survivor-led organization. Our team consists of women who have lived experiences in human trafficking and/or domestic violence. Therefore, we understand the fear, anxiety, and extreme barriers that a survivor encounters when she begins planning her escape.
It is our desire to ensure that she has the support and resources needed to achieve a safe-exit, to find hope for her life and freedom for her future.
From the first phone call of seeking assistance to successful relocation, Daughters of Worth is committed to providing trauma-informed, comprehensive services for girls and women who are victims of violence, specifically human trafficking.
