Meet the Team!

April has served Daughters of Worth throughout the past five years. She has assisted with Notes of Hope, Emergency Services Support, and has served as a facilitator for AG Cox Middle School for 3 years. This year, she will also serve as a facilitator for South Central High School.

Carolyn has served Daughters of Worth for the past three years. She has assisted with Emergency Services Support, Vision Boards Creation, and also serves as the Facilitator for AG Cox. This year, she will also serve as a facilitator for South Central High School.

Julie Fagundus has been a part of Daughters of Worth for the past six years. She has served as the Notes of Hope Coordinator, Emergency Services Support, and as a facilitator for both Washington High School and D.H. Conley. This year, Julie will return to Washington High School to serve as a facilitator for this group.

Latisha Moore has served with Daughters of Worth for the past few years, and we are excited to have her return this school year to serve our Washington High School girls! Latisha has such a heart and passion for these young ladies and pours into them through serving as a Facilitator, as well as an entrepreneur who has overcome barriers of her own.

Karly Scott joined the tribe of Daughters of Worth in fall 2022! We are excited to welcome her to the team. Karly will be serving several elementary, middle, and high schools throughout Pitt and Beaufort County during her internship.

Anyone who knows Melinda Sampson, Community Outreach Director of NC Stop Human Trafficking, Director of Women of Freedom, and GLAM Girls Facilitator, knows that Melinda is passionate about ensuring that our girls and women are safe, protected, and cared for. We are incredibly grateful to  have her on the team! Melinda serves DH Conley.

Faith has been a part of the Daughters of Worth team for the past few years. She has faithfully served our girls and young ladies through emergency support services, advocacy, and now is the Director of Girl Empowerment, providing support and encouragement for our advocate team.
